2013 Annual Client Cookout

This year Safe Haven Outreach Ministry, Inc. celebrated their 2013 Annual Client Cookout at Haines' Point on August 30, 2013 from 9:30am to 5:30pm. The staff and clients had a wonderful time. The menu included: barbecue spareribs, barbecue/ grilled chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers, salad, pasta salad, potato salad, macaroni/tuna salad, baked beans, assorted chips, assorted drinks and watermelon. For the special treat, we had crabs, crab legs, spiced shrimp and sweet corn from Ruff N' Ready Crabhouse on Chillum Road in Hyattsville, Md. There were an assortment of games: playing cards, volley ball, badminton and jump ropes. Additionally, this year SHOM had a guest appearance from DJ Willie, who performed for the entire cookout.
